We accept new patients of all ages. You will have the opportunity to meet with our team and get to know Dr. Vanessa Cabrera. We are committed to educating you about your dental needs and will answer any questions you may have concerning your treatment.

Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of dental care available today. Thank you for your confidence in our dental office and we look forward to meeting you.

What To Expect

Your first visit will consist of an endodontic consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. If treatment can be done the same day as the consultation Dr. Vanessa Cabrera will get started immediately. Occasionally a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
If you are being referred from your regular dentist we will work directly with them to receive your medical records and x-rays. Please bring your referral slip to the endodontic appointment.
If you are not a referral from a dentist please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Any X-rays (if applicable)
  • A list of medications you are currently taking
  • If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card and driver’s license.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit and treatment visits.


This procedure will be performed using local anesthesia. There are usually no restrictions after the procedure concerning driving or returning to work. A doctor is available for consultation at all times should a problem arise after your treatment.
Continue all medications for blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems and any other conditions as recommended by your physician. If there is a question, please call our office prior to your appointment.

Please eat a full breakfast or lunch as applicable.

If you have been advised by your physician or dentist to use antibiotic premedication because of a heart condition, prosthetic joint replacement, etc., please make sure you are on the appropriate antibiotic on the day of your appointment. If there is a question, please call our office prior to your appointment.
If you can take ibuprofen (Advil) or naproxen sodium (Aleve), it does help reduce inflammation when taken preoperatively. We recommend 2 tablets of either medication 2-4 hours before endodontic therapy.

Insurance and Billing

If you have dental insurance, we will gladly submit a claim to help you receive the maximum benefits according to your plan. Please keep in mind that dental insurance is designed to be an aid for dental expenses and coverage varies by company and by plan. In very few instances will dental insurance cover all of the costs of your treatment.

As a service to our patients, we will verify your insurance coverage and do our best to estimate the coverage your individual plan will provide prior to treatment. If your plan provides
out-of-network benefits and allows the assignment of benefits to the provider, then we may be able to estimate your benefits to help reduce your out-of-pocket portion. Our efforts however are not a guarantee of payment and your portion may change based on the final determination from your insurance carrier.

We do not believe it is in your best interest for your treatment to be dictated by your insurance company. Our focus is always to provide you with the highest quality care and a positive experience.

Elite Endodontics utilizes a completely paperless Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. This EMR allows us to subscribe to a service which allows instant creation and submission of claims to your insurer. This is done electronically at the time of treatment.This helps to ensure rapid processing of your claim regardless of your insurance carrier and is designed to help expedite benefits to you.

We provide multiple financing options to ensure you can receive the treatments you need with a plan you can afford.

Financial Policy

Our fees are based on the excellent care, highest quality treatment and personalized service we provide for you. It is important to us that our resources are best utilized focusing on providing the highest-quality patient care, not administrative and billing concerns. So that we can provide all of our patients with the high-level care that they deserve. We will collect the fee for your treatment at the time of your visit.

In order to help you plan for payment we will discuss the probable number of visits, their length, and the fees involved at your first visit and often over the phone in advance.

We will accept cash, check or credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express) for your fees. 

If you have a defined medical spending plan through your employer, we will submit documentation of your treatment and payment so you will be reimbursed in accordance with the terms of your plan.

Appointment Changes & Cancellations

We do not “double book” appointments. When we schedule with you Dr. Cabrera’s time is reserved specifically for you. To provide exceptional care, Dr.Cabrera reserves up to 2 hours for each treatment. Cancellations often leave this time unused, making it difficult for us to accommodate other patients.

We request 24 business hours notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment to avoid a $225 missed appointment fee; surgical appointments may have additional restrictions and fees. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
